Circle Up is taking place at Idaho Basecamp’s beautiful Big Lost Campus. Idaho Basecamp is a non-profit organization who’s mission is to helps develop resilience, confidence, and connection in youth through adventure, exploration, and intentional play in the outdoors. While this event is not hosted by Idaho Basecamp, 1% of the net proceeds will go to their free outdoor programming for kids.
This event takes place in October in the Idaho Mountains. The site is at 7,000 feet elevation - so plan for chilly nights and crisp days.

Circle Up is hosted by WhitnessThis Productions and Mountain Maven, both founded by Whitney McNees.

This event is for women who are seeking a rejuvenating and inspiring weekend of community and connection.

Yes, you will need to register for this event. There are three tiers: one for those feeling abundant, one regular price, and one for those needing support. If you purchase the top tier it will trickle down to support third tier purchases. We do not want to turn anyone away for financial reasons so please reach out of none of these tiers work for you and we will make something work that feels good for all!

Getting There & Parking

The address to the venue is 4921 Trail Creek Road, Mackay ID.
From Ketchum: head east on Sun Valley Road for 29 miles. Site will be on the right. This is a dirt road on a high mountain pass so if you take this route drive slowly, have good tires, have a spare tire, and know how to change it!
From Mackay: head North on Hwy 93 for 16 miles. Take a left onto Trail Creek Road. Site is approximately 11 miles west on the left side of the road.

There is limited parking on site. Please carpool where possible!

For our inaugural year we will not be providing transportation but this is something we will be looking into for the future if there is a need.
Lodging & Local Services

There are basic no frills hotels and motels in the towns of Mackay and Challis. You’ll find higher end accommodations in Ketchum. Each of these towns are about 45 minutes away from the site. There are off site campgrounds nearby as well.

The nearest towns for food, gas and supplies are Mackay, Challis and Ketchum (over dirt road).

While we are not ADA wheelchair accessible we can accommodate. Plan for bumpy dirt pathways that will likely need support being pushed on.

You can expect women’s circles, cozy spaces for relaxation, a wood fire sauna, hot tub soaking, cold plunge, crafts, lessons, and discussions.

Weather, Safety & Connectivity

The show will go on! We have some indoor gathering spaces that we will move classes to in the event of inclement weather. Weather in the mountains changes minute to minute so keep checking your forecast leading up to the event. We recommend checking Mackay and Ketchum weather and taking the median.

There will be no cell phone reception or Wi-Fi access. We have a land line for emergencies and Wi-Fi for staff.

There is no smoking, alcohol, or illicit drugs permitted at this event.
